After winning his court case against French magazine "Oops""Leonardo DiCaprio has been slammed by the magazine's owner as being racist .The renowned actor dragged the magazine to court in June ,asking for 18,000 Euros, or around $US20,000 in damages plus legal fees, for claiming he fathered a child with Rihanna and told the singer that he did not want the baby. He also demanded they retract the story.
Gossip Cop reports that , the magazine's editor claims the 40-year-old actor only sued the magazine as he is racist.
In a bizarre rant, he said:
'DiCaprio almost systematically goes out with Aryan-type girls, always blonde hair.
'He could not stand the fact that our magazine was saying he was having a baby with a black girl.''We were totally expecting this decision, since in France when any magazine speaks about a celebrity’s private life the magazine is automatically condemned.
The French court has ruled in favour of the Leo finding not only were the claims false the publication of two paparazzi pictures of the star breached France's very strict privacy laws.He was awarded just over $USD8,800 in damages and legal fees.
The magazine must also write in an upcoming issue that Leo won in court, according to the judge’s decision.
The owner of Oops!, Frederic Truskolaski, told Gossip Cop he expected to lose but claimed the star only sued them because he is a 'pervert' who has a 'racial issue'.
The owner previously admitted his magazine knew the story about the pregnancy was probably not true.
Bradley Cooper is also suing the magazine for breaching his right to privacy
